EPL: Arsenal vs Man City postponed, Gunners’ Europa League clash with PSV gets new date
Arsenal’s Europa League group game has now been moved to Thursday, October 20.
The match was initially scheduled for this Thursday, September 15, but was moved because of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
But the fixture had to be played before the first Europa League knockout draw on November 7 and the week of City’s game against Arsenal was one option for the rearranged date.
The Gunners’ game against the champions, which was due to be played that week (on the Wednesday), has now been postponed.
Mikel Arteta’s men will be back in action this Sunday when they travel to Brentford.
City are away to Wolves in Saturday’s early kick-off.
