EPL: Gary Neville issues fresh warning over Chelsea owner, Boehly
Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has issued a fresh warning over Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly and the involvement of Americans in the English Premier League.
Boehly led the consortium which bought Chelsea from former Russian owner Roman Abramovich over the summer.
The Americans spent over £250m on new players and went ahead to sack Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel and replaced the German with Graham Potter.
Just yesterday the American spoke of his desire to introduce an American-style All-Star game in the Premier League.
The idea is that players from the north of England will play their counterparts from the south.
The billionaire businessman also admitted he was not against the European Super League.
Neville said, according to Metro, “I keep saying it but the quicker we get the Regulator in [English football] the better.
“US investment into English football is a clear and present danger to the pyramid and fabric of the game.
“They just don’t get it and think differently. They also don’t stop till they get what they want!”
