EPL: Man City attacker undergoes Barcelona medical after Guardiola confirms exit
Manchester City forward, Ferran Torres, on Monday underwent his medicals with Barcelona.
The two clubs agreed on a £55m fee, which includes add-ons and will be paid in instalments for the player last week.
Although Torres is currently recovering from a broken metatarsal, his medical was scheduled for Monday morning.
According to SportingLife, the 21-year-old has passed all of the required tests and is now on the brink of a switch to Camp Nou.
A deal could be finalised by the end of the day, ending Torres’s 18-month spell with the Premier League champions.
City manager, Pep Guardiola, has recently insisted that he has no issues with the winger leaving the Etihad side less than midway through his long-term contract.
