Nigeria Immigration Service redeploys Lagos airport, Ikoyi passport office comptrollers, others
The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Isah Jere Idris has redeployed 69 senior officers to Zones, Commands, and Formations.
The postings, contained in a circular vide NIS/HQ/ADM/4423/170, take immediate effect.
NIS spokesman, Assistant Comptroller Amos Okpu said eight Assistant Comptrollers General (ACG) and 61 Comptrollers of Immigration (CIS) were moved.
ACG KM Amao, ex-Comptroller of Ogun State Command, heads to the General Services Division at the headquarters in Abuja.
ACG KN Nandap, former head of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Command, moves to the Combined Expatriate and Residence Permit Card Division (CERPAC).
CI AO Adesokan will now the MMIA Lagos Airport; acting Principal Staff Officer (PSO) to the CG, CI Ahmed Mustapha becomes the new Comptroller in Kano; CI MM Saddiq replaces him.
ACG AM Usman is now the Head, Division of Regular Migration; ACG BN Alawode becomes the Head of Welfare and Gender; ACG EC Esedo is now the Zonal Coordinator, Zone ‘D’ in Minna.
ACG MA Ushie of the Document Fraud Unit heads the Diplomatic/Official Passport Division; ACG ES Fagbamigbe formerly of Idi-Iroko Border Command moves to the Land Border Division.
CI Shittu Olajire Fatai will take charge at the Border Patrol Command Lagos; CIS Gwama Muhammad now heads the Idi-Iroko Border.
Passport Control Officer, Ikoyi Passport Office, CI AO Bewaji heads to the headquarters as CI Michael Dike takes over as the Comptroller, Seme Border Command Lagos.
CG Jere wished the officers the best in their new roles and charged them to use their experiences to improve service delivery and national security.
