UCL: We have score to settle – Salah reacts after Real Madrid beat Man City 3-1
Mohamed Salah has reacted as Real Madrid set up a Champions League final meeting with Liverpool on Wednesday.
The Egyptian warned Real Madrid that he has a score to settle with them in the final.
Liverpool will now play the Spanish giants at the Stade de France on 21 May after Carlo Ancelotti’s men defeated Manchester City in the second semi-final on Wednesday.
Liverpool and Real Madrid met in the 2018 Champions League final, and the LaLiga title holders ran away with a 3-1 win.
Salah was forced off with a shoulder injury suffered in a challenge with Sergio Ramos, who is now with PSG.
And Salah now seeks revenge, tweeting after Real Madrid’s incredible comeback on Wednesday night: “We have a score to settle.”
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have already booked their place in the final after a 5-2 aggregate win over Villarreal on Tuesday.
After their victory over Villarreal, Salah was asked if he has a preference on final opponents, he told BT Sport: “Well yeah, I want to play Madrid. I have to be honest.”
